Louise Irvine, standing in South West Surrey for the National Health Action Party, was interviewed on Daily Politics earlier today. The LibDem candidate has been suspended by his party but he will remain on the ballot paper as LibDem candidate.
It casts a cloud over the democratic process because people are going into the polling station believing they may be voting for the LibDem candidate. That might be because they support the LibDems or because they see that as the best way to try to get rid of Jeremy Hunt but they will not have full possession of the facts.
